2004-07-26 - Everything at once

We´re all in some state of shock, since we´ve all agreed that Titti won’t join us anymore. I personally think she´s taken the right decision. To carry on not knowing whether a rescue operation would work or not, would be foolish. But, of course one feels an inner emptiness. All throughout all preparations, both mentally and physically, we´ve been prepared to be three, not two. One can only refocus now as quick as possible, and mentally prepare for what we are going to do and that we still have all possibilities to make it all the way.
During the last couple of days, I´ve experienced lots of exiting and for me, new things. This is a life where something is happening all the time and there is never one dead or dull moment. It is also very tiring at times.
Today we joined the Maximov family for salmonfishing. A good insight into their spare time. For them, salmonfishing, is a way of getting rid of all the stress from the daily life and to catch some food for the winter. It also gave us a great opportunity to get to know them better and they are really nice and very generous people. And they caught plenty of salmons aswell! |
