Occupation: Explorer/author/filmmaker/photographer and lecturer.
Family: Wife Titti, wilddog Sigge and the cat Måns plus Tittis två grown-up kids.
Living in: Sörberget, Särna, sweden. Born in Dala-Järna.
Interests: Everything which is included in my job, is my main interests in life. Which means doing documentaries, adventure, photography, writing, travel, ethology, meeting people from different cultures, anthropology, the great outdoor, animals, but except that, I spend all my free time hunting, fishing and eating up what I´ve caught or shot!
Last book I´ve read: On the Sea, the Yupik and Chuckchi of the Russain Far East av Anna M. Kerttula
Last film seen: A swedish documentary called Snön är alltid vit på landsort. A film by Pia Johansson.
Music: I hardly ever listen to music. If I do, I like african popular music.
Motivation: Curiosity. I´ve spent a fair amount of my grown up life thinking about the issue regarding the meaning of life. This is my main motivation for Exploration. I will continue until I´ve built a base of understanding this. I am still far off. Thank God!
Main responsabilities during the Expedition: Expeditionleader. Pretty much everything. From strategic planning to soundengineering!
Odd speciality that could turn out to be a great help during the Expedition: Humour and pikefishing. Nobody is going to feel any hunger during this Expedition if there is pike in the Kolyma River! |
