Occupation:I am mostly loafing around, but I am working a lot with tourists at the local campground and at the tourist office in Malung.
Family: Girlfriend Angelica and my dachshund Ysack (a very good huntingdog when it comes to deer). Mother, father and an elder sister.
Living in: Grimsåker in Malung.
Interests: Hunting, fishing and the great outdoor of course. On top of that, curling and off course computergames.
Last book read: The 20 book long fantasy-series Wheel of Times written by Robert Jordan (only read 13 of them so far.)
Last movie seen:: Well, the last seen movie that was really good was Two Towers even though it can’t beat the book.
Music:I listen to most types of music. From Kizz to Sven Ingvars.
Motivation: My motivation is that I alway want to explore and find that I am in charge of my destiny. I don´t want to spend my life sitting in the sofa thinking about what I could have done with my life, but what I will do. ”The world is like a book, he who stays at home reads only one page.”
Wy did you want to participate on this expedition?
The reason why I want to go to Siberia is because I have always been amazed by people doing all these expeditions and other great travels that always seemed to be out of reach for me or my skills. Untill I met Mikael I never thought that I would be capable of anything like this. Now I think I got the knowlege and the spirit for this and it is something I really would like to do for a living. What could be better than to go with an experienced couple like the Strandbergs and learn how to prepare and do such a great journey.
Odd speciality that could turn out to be a great help during the Expedition: Well, give me a broom, some ice and a 20 kg stone, then I can fix mostly everything (from the curling). |
