Expeditions by Mikael and Titti Strandberg
1986-87 Bicyle from Chile to Alaska, 27 500 km. Mikael crossed the El Darién Jungle, 800 km of virgin jungle, no roads, between Panama and Colombia. Carried his bike for a month.
1989-92 Bicycle from Norway to South Africa, Cape to Cape, passed the Sahara Desert, took me 3 months pushing the bike using only a manual compass. 33 000 km.
1994-96 Bicycle from New Zealand to Cairo, through Asia, 29 500 km. All together 90 000 km over 7.5 years of pedaling a bike.
